On the Jeffreys Bay Township Tour, the famous Goodman Alla guides you on a journey into the township of Tokyo Sexwale and Pellsrus in Jeffreys Bay. Experience a South African “location” on foot, stopping at a traditional the stop by a creche and also at an old fishing woman who has been here since before Pellsrus was named Pellsrus. We also stop at a Local Shabeen! Goodman adds a fountain of knowledge, stories and fun to this 2 hour adventure!
Jeffreys Bay’s Township, Tokyo Sexwale, is small in comparison to ones in major cities. It however gives as much diversity and insight into the life of people living there as any other area would. The walkabout township tour is spontaneous, giving you the freedom to choose where you want to linger – be it with a family you have met on the way, playing soccer with the children or simply sitting in a local shebeen drinking beer.
What to Bring: Camera, comfortable walking shoes, hat, sunscreen, money for refreshments, a jersey in case it gets cold. If you wish to give a gift to the children in the township, colouring books and crayons are recommended.
What to Wear: Comfortable clothes, walking shoes and hat
